Donating household items, tools, clothes, and even instruments allows you to do your part in honoring our veterans. It can get stressful if no one ends up taking the item, and you’ll end up having to find another tactic. After you enter your zip code, choose where to donate your furniture, pick a few times for pickup, and sit back.

A great way to get your furniture picked up for donation is by using the Donation Town website. Although for many, we try to get rid of this as we have been able to buy a new couch or bed and need to clear the space out of our houses or apartments. Contact your local Habitat ReStore to see if they are able to pick up the item or items you have available.

Your items will be brought to a nearby Goodwill store and sold at a steep discount to those in need. Check the furniture you want to donate to make sure it meets our donation standards. Use our online donation request platform to get your request to your local non-profit within just a few minutes.

Effective February 1st, we will charge a non-refundable $15 fee for all donations. Furniture Pick Up Services Even if your old furniture is oddly shaped, exceptionally heavy or won’t fit through a narrow doorway we can still remove and haul it away for you. The money raised goes to various initiatives, including job training and placement.
